How is it that the five friends can grasp the essential nature of any matter,
and cooperate in an uplifting way—like puzzle pieces fitting together into a single picture?
Where does that ability come from?
If such a power arises from “the One Question,”
then what exactly is that question?
Thoughts like these rush through his mind.

Just then, the WB friend calls out,
“David!”
and points to a road sign that reads:

“To the 11 Dimensions House.”

데이비드는, 두 번째 질문에 대한 대화를 마치고, 다시 다섯 친구와 함께 산길을 따라 길을 나선다.

데이비드는 다섯 친구와 함께, 길을 걸어가면서 이들과의 대화 속에서 얻게 된 깨달음을 다시 되새긴다. 그러한 깨달음 속에는 또 다른 질문의 싹이 트고 있다. 그는 길을 걸으면서 길 양쪽에 핀 꽃을 보는 게 아니라 자신의 마음속에서 빠른 속도로 자라고 있는 그 질문의 싹을 유심히 바라보고 있다.

어떻게 해서, 다섯 친구는 어떠한 일의 본질적인 특성을 파악해서 마치 조각들을 맞춰 하나의 퍼즐을 완성하듯이 상승적으로 협력해서 조화를 이루어내게 되는지. 그러한 능력은 어디에서 오는지. 그러한 능력이 ‘단 하나의 질문’에서 온다면, 그 질문은 무엇인지 등등. 이에 대한 생각이 빠른 속도로 그의 머리를 채우고 있는 것이다.

바로 그때, WB친구가 “데이비드!” 하면서 ’11차원 하우스(11 Dimensions House)’로 가는 도로 표지판을 가리킨다.

WB friend:
“David! Look over there—that’s the path to the 11 Dimensions House.
That’s where we’ll be staying tonight.”

David:
“The 11 Dimensions House?
Just the name makes me curious.
It sounds incredibly mysterious.
What kind of place is it?”

WB friend:
“Well… simply put, it’s a space made up of eleven dimensions.
I’ll explain more later, but each dimension represents a specific concept
and plays a particular role.”

At that moment, the other friends chime in all at once:
“It’s also the place where you’ll be staying, David—
and where you’ll meet all five of us.”

After listening to this brief explanation, David looks at them with excitement.
“A higher-dimensional world?
This sounds amazing!”

Yet, deep inside, he can’t help wondering whether he’ll be able to grasp it at all.
Life in the real world already feels complicated and difficult—
so what about a deeper, more abstract 11-dimensional reality?

Before long, they arrive at the entrance to the 11 Dimensions House.

David:
“For example?”

WB friend:
“There’s the Bowl Dimension,
the Mirror Dimension,
the Compass Dimension…
and even the Creative Energy Dimension.
Each holds deep meaning in life
and plays its own part.”

David:
“Can I actually see those dimensions or experience them myself?”

S friend:
“That’s a bit complicated.
Humans are used to perceiving just three spatial dimensions—length, width, height—
and if we include time, that’s four.
Anything beyond that is invisible to your eyes.”

David:
“So I just can’t see the others?
Does that mean I can’t experience them?”

S friend:
“Not necessarily.
They’re unfamiliar, that’s all.
Depending on how you approach them,
you can feel and even experience higher dimensions.”

WB friend:
“Exactly.
And we’ll guide you.
All five of us are already aware of all eleven dimensions.”

데이비드: “예를 들면?”

WB친구: “‘그릇’ 차원, ‘거울’ 차원, ‘나침반’ 차원… 그리고 ‘창조적 에너지’ 차원 같은 것들이 있어. 각각이 삶에서 중요한 의미를 가지고 있고 각자의 역할을 하지.”

데이비드: “그런 차원들을 직접 볼 수 있거나 경험해 볼 수 있어?”

S친구: “그게 좀 복잡한 문제야. 우리는 보통 길이, 너비, 높이까지 세 개 차원을 보고, 시간까지 합쳐서 4차원까지만 느끼잖아. 그 이상은 사람 눈에는 안 보이니까.”

데이비드: “그럼 나머지 차원들은 그냥 못 보는 거야? 경험해 볼 수 없는 거야?”

S친구: “꼭 그런 건 아니야. 우리한테 익숙하지 않을 뿐이지. 어떻게 접근하느냐에 따라 더 많은 차원을 느낄 수 있고, 경험해볼 수도 있지.”

WB친구: “맞아. 그리고 우리가 너를 도울 거야. 우리 다섯 친구는 이미 11차원 모두를 인식할 수 있으니까.”

그러고 나자, 다른 친구들이 동시에 “앞으로 데이비드가 머무르는 곳이고, 우리 다섯 친구를 만나는 곳이기도 하지”라고 한다.

’11차원 하우스(11 Dimensions House)’에 대한 다섯 친구의 간략한 설명이 끝나자, 데이비드는 설레는 표정으로 그들을 바라보며 말했다. “고차원의 세계라니! 정말 기대돼!”

하지만, 데이비드는, 내심으로는 현실 세계에서의 삶도 이미 충분히 복잡하고 어렵게 느껴지는데, 더 깊고 추상적인 11차원의 고차원 세계를 이해하고 따라갈 수 있을지 의문을 가지기도 한다.

그러는 사이에 어느덧 ’11차원 하우스(11 Dimensions House)’ 입구에 도착한다.
