WB took in David’s question quietly.
Then he reached into his notebook, pulled out a small sheet of paper,
and handed it to David.

“David,” he said gently,
“before we go any further…
would you read this first?”

WB친구는 데이비드의 질문을 받고서는 “데이비드, 이걸 먼저 한번 읽어볼래?” 하고 글이 적힌 종이 한 장을 그에게 내민다.

David took the paper and asked,
“But… what is this?”

WB smiled and gestured lightly with his hand.
“Just read it first.
It might hold a clue to the question you asked.”

David scanned the page in silence for a moment.
Then he lifted his head and spoke slowly, as if absorbing every word.

“This is exactly what I was wondering about…
It’s about a young man named Min-ho who’s struggling with high youth unemployment,
a prolonged job crisis, repeated failures that crushed his self-esteem,
financial hardships, social isolation,
and the loss of hope that leaves him paralyzed with helplessness.
What he’s feeling, what he’s going through—
it’s the same pain that so many job seekers in our country are living with right now.”

WB nodded quietly.
“Right, David. That’s exactly what it’s about.”
Then, leaning forward just a little, he added,
“So the question is—what should he do?
Of course, landing a job is urgent for him, given his situation…”

At that point LB stepped in to support WB’s point.
“David,” he said, “there are people like Min-ho who are trapped in their inner darkness and can’t find their way out.
And then there are others who are blinded by material comfort—people who don’t even notice the shadows within themselves because their lives look fine on the surface.”

He continued,
“Even though those two groups live in very different conditions,
from the perspective of that single question—
‘With inner motivation, toward a higher-level life path?’—
they both fall under what we’d call ‘low inner motivation’
and ‘lower-tier life paths.’”

“In the end,” LB concluded,
“whether it’s Min-ho or anyone else in that group,
the question we’re really asking is the same:
Can the power of that single question activate all eleven dimensions dynamically—even for someone who has fallen that far?
And the answer begins with understanding it from that angle.”

데이비드가 그 종이를 받으면서 “근데, 이거 뭐야?” 하자.

WB친구는 “일단 읽어봐, 너의 궁금증을 풀어줄 단서가 될 수 있으니” 하며 손으로 읽어보라는 제스처를 한다.

데이비드는 잠시 종이에 적힌 글을 읽고 나서 “이건 내가 궁금했던 건데…… 높은 청년 실업률과 장기화되는 취업난, 반복되는 실패로 인한 자존감 하락, 경제적 어려움과 사회적 고립, 희망 상실과 무기력감 등으로 어려움에 빠져있는 젊은 세대 민호라는 청년 이야기이네. 민호라는 청년이 느끼는 감정, 겪는 어려움들은 현재 우리나라 사회의 많은 취업 준비생들이 실제로 경험하고 공감할 수 있는 현실적인 고통이라고 생각돼” 하며 적힌 글의 내용을 요약해서 말한다.

WB친구는 “데이비드, 맞아, 그런 내용이지” 하며, “그렇다면, 이 청년은 어떻게 해야 할까? 물론 경제적인 문제로 취업하는 게 시급한 과제이긴 하겠지만” 하고 곧바로 대화의 핵심으로 향한다.

그러자 LB친구가 데이비드의 이해를 돕는다는 차원에서 “데이비드, 세상에는 그 청년처럼 스스로의 어둠에 갇혀 헤어 나오지 못하는 사람이 있는가 하면, 현실적으로 살아가는 데 필요한 물질적인 풍요로움으로 인해 스스로의 어둠이 자신에게도 있다는 걸 못 느끼는 채 사는 사람이 있기도 하지” 하며, “이들 각각이 처해 있는 상황이 서로 다르긴 하지만, ‘내적 동기로 더 높은 단계의 인생 경로?’라는 ‘단 하나의 질문’ 측면에서 보면 ‘낮은 수준의 내적 동기’와 ‘낮은 단계의 인생 경로’에 속한 그룹으로 분류해 볼 수 있지. 결과적으로 이러한 집단에 속한 사람도 ‘단 하나의 질문’으로 11차원 각각을 역동적으로 활성화시킬 수 있는가? 하는 거와 같은 맥락에서 이해해야 된다고 보네” 한다.

David receives the paper and says,
David: “But… what is this?”

WB Friend: “Just read it first. It might be a clue that answers your curiosity.”
(gesturing with his hand for him to read)

David reads what’s written for a moment, then says,
David:
“This is exactly what I was wondering about…
It’s about a young man named Minho who has fallen into hardship because of high youth unemployment, a prolonged job crisis, lowered self-esteem from repeated failure, economic difficulties and social isolation, loss of hope and helplessness.
The emotions Minho feels and the difficulties he experiences are realistic suffering that many job seekers in our country are actually going through and can relate to.”

WB Friend:
“David, yes, that’s right.
So then, what should this young man do?
Of course, getting a job because of economic problems must be his most urgent task.”

LB Friend:
“David, to help your understanding—
In the world, there are people like that young man who are trapped in their own darkness and cannot escape,
and people who, because of practical material abundance, live unaware that they even have darkness within themselves.
Their situations are different, but from the perspective of the ‘one single question’—
‘Inner motive for a higher stage of life path?’—
both can be classified into the group with a low level of inner motive and a low stage of life path.
So whether someone in that group can dynamically activate each of the eleven dimensions through the ‘one single question’ must be understood in that same context.”

David blinks a few times and asks back,
David:
“To sweep away one’s own darkness, seek the light,
and breathe strong life into the eleven dimensions…
Wouldn’t meeting one’s five friends be the first priority?”

WB Friend:
“Yes. That is more important than anything.
To find the genuine, ultimate answer,
the most important thing is to meet the five friends in your own ‘11-Dimension House,’
converse with them,
and activate each of the eleven dimensions through the ‘one single question’ to solve the problem.”

S Friend:
“Together with the five friends—
if one’s inner darkness has taken deep root,
then in order to sweep it away, one must reach the ultimate
and radically transform the aspects of existence:
‘relationship–action–intention.’
And above all, one must fundamentally re-examine the Reason dimension which becomes the foundation of Intention.”

LN Friend:
“And that process transforms, at the core, the ‘Vessel’ dimension,
which lives out and contains life,
allowing it to regain vitality and shine.”

David:
“Then the dynamism comes alive again?”

LB Friend:
“In that process, the representative dimensions showing the dynamism of existence
revive as creativity in the Creative Energy Dimension,
and restore the overall dynamism of the eleven dimensions.
The important point is that creative energy does not come from outside—
it arises from the inner world.”

David nods and smiles.
David:
“I strongly agree with the fact that the creative energy begins within myself more than anything.”

The five friends laugh and applaud loudly,
filling David’s ‘11-Dimension House’ with laughter and clapping.

…

WB Friend:
“David, now it is time for us to part.
For the next journey toward your final destination, you must go alone.
The five of us cannot go with you anymore—
but in your heart, the five friends will always be with you.”

David:
“What? Has the time already gone by that fast?”
(looking disappointed)

WB Friend:
“You must move on to your next destination, so there is no helping it—
and we feel the same regret.
But now, we are always with you inside your heart.”

One by one, the five friends offer encouragement and advice.

WB Friend:
“David, if wisdom is about various beings, the encounters and relationships among them,
and creating value not only for yourself but for many different beings—
then engrave that true meaning in your heart and practice it in your life every day.”

S Friend:
“Every being has its own reason.
The reason you started this journey with us,
and the reason you are going to finish it—
don’t forget that deep, ultimate intention within you.
Sometimes look up at the sky and remember where you came from and where you are going.”

LN Friend:
“Your story is not over.
You will write the pages ahead yourself.
Fill your vessel with every scene—sad and joyful—
and leave behind a meaningful story of your own.
Others will come to cherish your story as well.”

MR Friend:
“Remember the sincerity contained in the time we shared.
That sincerity wells up as love.
It becomes the golden rule, and in your connections with others,
your existence will bloom more beautifully.
Always keep your heart open.
You can form meaningful connections with any being in this world.”

LB Friend:
“With the one single question—
‘Inner motive for a higher stage of life path?’—
put your own life project into practice.
The process matters, and connecting that process to value creation matters too.
Shape that value in your everyday life.”

David:
“Friends! Thank you!
I won’t forget what you’ve told me.
I’ll engrave it deep in my heart and keep it for a long time.
And I’ll practice it in my everyday life.”

WB Friend:
“David, go out from here, walk along the mountain path, cross over the mountain ridge,
and you’ll find a building on a wide grassland.
That is the final destination of this journey.
I wish for you joyful and happy times all the way to the end!”

David:
“Thank you for being with me all this time.
Because of you, I believe the last part of the journey will be just like that.
Even though you can’t come with me, I feel reassured knowing you’ll always be in my heart.”

Finally, David stands at the entrance of his ‘11-Dimension House,’
receiving their farewell,
and sets out toward the final destination.

데이비드는 WB친구의 질문을 받고, 그리고 LB친구의 보충적인 설명을 들은 후 잠시 눈을 깜박거리다가 “스스로의 어둠을 걷어내고 빛을 구해 자신의 11차원들에게 강한 생명력을 불어넣기 위해서는, 일단 자신의 다섯 친구를 만나는 게 우선이 아닐까?” 하고 확인차 반문한다.

“그래 그렇게 하는 게 무엇보다 중요하지. 진정한, 궁극적인 답을 찾기 위해서는, 자신의 ’11차원 하우스’에서 다섯 친구를 만나 대화를 나누며 ‘단 하나의 질문’으로 11차원 각각을 활성화시켜 문제를 풀어가는 게 가장 중요하지” 하며 WB친구가 확인해 준다.

이들의 대화를 듣고 있던 S친구도 “다섯 친구와 함께, 그러한 스스로의 어둠이 깊게 뿌리를 내리고 있으면 그걸 걷어내기 위해서는 궁극적인 것에 닿아서 존재의 ‘관계-작용-의도’ 측면을 획기적으로 변화시켜야 하고……무엇보다도 ‘의도’의 기반이 되는 ‘이유’ 차원을 근본적으로 다시 들여다볼 필요가 있지” 하고 거든다.

그리고 LN친구가 “그러는 과정이, 삶을 살아내고 담아내는 ‘그릇’ 차원을 본질적으로 변화를 하게 하며 생명력을 되찾아 빛을 발할 수 있게 하지” 하며 덧붙인다.

그러자 데이비드가 “그러면 역동성이 다시 살아나는 거야?” 하고 묻는다.

이에 대해 LB친구가 “그 과정에, 존재의 역동성을 보여주는 대표적인 차원들이 ‘창조적 에너지’ 차원의 ‘창조성’으로 되살아나 11차원의 전체적인 역동성을 살아나게 하기도 하지. 중요한 거는 창조적인 에너지가 외부에서 오는 게 아니라 바로 내면세계에서 일어난다는 거지” 하자.

데이비드는 어느 정도 알아들었는다는 듯이 고개를 끄떡이면서 “무엇보다도 그 창조적인 에너지가 자신의 내부에서 시작된다는 데 크게 공감해” 하며 웃는다.

다섯 친구도 함께 웃으며, 데이비드의 깨달음을 축하하는 박수를 크게 쳐준다. 웃음과 박수 소리가 데이비드의 ’11차원 하우스’를 가득 채운다.

그러고 나서 WB친구가 “데이비드, 이젠 우리와 헤어질 때가 되었어. 마지막 목적지로 가는 다음 여정은 우리가 함께 할 수 없으니 혼자 가야 해. 우리 다섯 친구가 너와 함께 가지는 못하지만 네 마음속에는 우리 다섯 친구가 항상 함께 있을 거야” 하고 작별인사를 꺼낸다.

WB친구의 작별 인사를 들은 데이비드는 “아니, 벌써 시간이 그렇게 되었어?” 하고 아쉬운 표정을 짓는다.

이에 WB친구는 “다음 목적지로 가야 하니 어쩔 수 없긴 하지만 아쉽기는 우리도 마찬가지야. 하지만 이젠 우리 다섯 친구가 네 마음속에 늘 함께 하잖아!” 한다.

데이비드와의 작별을 앞두고, 지금까지 함께 한 다섯 친구 각자가 그에게 격려와 조언을 해준다.

WB친구: “데이비드, 지혜가, 다양한 존재들에 관한, 다양한 존재들 간의 만남과 관계에 관한, 그리고 자신뿐만 아니라 다양한 존재들을 위한 가치 창출에 관한 것이라고 봤을 때 그 진정한 의미를 늘 가슴속에 새기면서, 너의 삶 속에서 매일 실천해 가기를 바라.”

S친구: “모든 존재에는 나름대로의 이유가 있어. 네가 우리 다섯 친구와 함께 이번 여정을 시작한 이유, 그리고 끝까지 가려는 이유도. 네 안의 그 깊은, 궁극적인 의도를 잊지 마. 가끔 하늘을 바라보며, 넌 어디서 왔고 어디로 가는지 기억하길.”

LN친구: “너의 이야기는 아직 끝나지 않았어. 앞으로의 페이지는 네가 직접 써나가는 거야. 슬프고 기쁜 모든 장면들을 너만의 그릇에 담아 내어 너만의 의미 있는 이야기를 남기게 될 거야. 네 이야기는 너뿐만 아니라 다른 사람들도 진정으로 사랑하게 될 거야.”

MR친구: “우리가 나눈 시간 속에 담긴 진심을 기억해 줘. 그 진심은 사랑으로 우러나게 되고. 이게 황금률이 되어 사람들과의 연결 속에서, 너의 존재는 더 아름답게 피어나게 될 거야. 언제나 마음을 열어 두렴. 너는 이 세상 어떠한 존재와도 의미 있게 연결될 수 있어.”

LB친구: “‘내적 동기로 높은 단계의 인생 경로?’라는 단 하나의 질문으로 자신의 인생 프로젝트를 실천에 옮기는 게 중요해. 과정도 중요하고 그런 과정을 가치 창출로 이어지게 하는 거도 중요해. 매일매일의 삶 속에서 그런 가치를 빚어내길 바라.”

다섯 친구의 격려와 조언을 모두 들은 데이비드는 “친구들아! 고마워! 너네들이 해준 말을 잊지 않고 가슴속 깊이 새겨둬 오래오래 간직할게. 그리고 일상적인 삶 속에서 실천해 가도록 할게” 하며 진심으로 고맙다는 표정을 짓는다.

그러고 나서 WB친구는 “데이비드, 여기를 나서서 산길을 따라 걷다가 산고개를 넘으면 넓은 초원 위에 있는 건물을 발견하게 될 거야. 그곳이, 바로 이번 여정의 최종 목적지가 돼. 마지막 여정까지 즐겁고, 행복한 시간을 보내기를 바라!” 하고 말한다.

데이비드도 “그동안 함께 해줘 너무 고마워, 너네들 덕분에 남은 마지막 여정도 그렇게 되리라 믿어. 이젠 함께 가지는 못하지만 내 마음속에 늘 함께 한다 하니 든든해” 하며 감사함을 표시한다.

마침내 데이비드는 자신의 ’11차원 하우스’ 입구에서 다섯 친구의 배웅을 받으면서 마지막 목적지를 향해 떠난다.
