Above all, he is pleased that he can now focus more attention on what truly matters.

While walking the mountain path toward the destination WB Friend mentioned,
David sees a road sign installed along the trail.

He stops, surprised, staring wide-eyed at the sign reading “Seojimo Got.”

David exclaims loudly:

“Wait… ‘Seojimo Got’?
It actually exists here?
Then that means the next destination of this journey—the one WB Friend spoke of—is right here?”

데이비드는, WB친구가 가르쳐준 산길을 따라 걸으면서 마치 자신의 마음의 길을 걷고 있다는 생각을 하게 된다. 여기까지 오게 된 거만으로도 꿈만 같다는 생각을 하면서…

이번 여정으로 평상시 회사 업무로 가득 채워있던 자신의 머릿속에도 어느 정도 정리가 이뤄진 거 같다는 생각도 하게 된다. 전 세계적인 그룹 오너 회장의 특별 지시로 발족된 특별 프로젝트를 총괄하고 있는 그로서는 늘 업무가 자신의 머릿속을 떠나지 않았는데, 다섯 친구와 함께 한 이번 여정으로 그간 밀려있던 숙제를 기분 좋게 해치운 느낌을 갖게 된다. 무엇보다도 더 중요한 일에 마음을 좀 더 집중할 수 있게 되었다는 사실에 만족해한다.

데이비드는, 이런저런 생각을 떠올리면서 WB친구가 말한 목적지를 향해 산길을 걷다가 길가에 설치되어 있는 도로 표지판을 목격하게 된다. 데이비드는 ‘서지모 곳(Seojimo Got)’이라 적혀 있는 그 표지판을 보고서는 엄청 놀라는 표정을 지으면서 “아니, ‘서지모 곳(Seojimo Got)’이라고? 그게 여기 있다는 말인가? 그렇다면 WB친구가 가르쳐준 여정의 다음 목적지가 바로 여기란 말인가?” 하고 큰 소리로 말한다.

David is astonished to realize that the name written on the road sign —
“Seojimo Got” — is exactly the same as the name Sarah, a member of his project team,
proposed during the Berlin meeting for the platform business she is currently leading.

Back then, in the Berlin meeting,
Sarah suggested naming a space within the platform — a place designed for encounters with various beings —
“Seojimo Got,” short for “the Place Where Wisdom Gathers.”

She explained its purpose:

“In the ‘Place Where Wisdom Gathers,’ many different activities will take place.
Above all, it will allow communication, exchange, cooperation, and collaboration with a wide range of other beings.
Through these processes, opportunities will emerge to create economic value, social value, and emotional value.”

As David vividly recalls that moment,
he wonders whether this is all just coincidence…
and what might unfold from here.

With a strange mix of surprise and curiosity,
David crosses over the mountain ridge and steps onto a flat stretch of land.
In the distance, he spots a circular building rising from a wide green meadow.

On the outer wall, written in bold, large letters,
the name “Seojimo Got” stands out clearly to his eyes.

Looking at the circular building,
David feels once again, beyond any doubt,
that the final destination of this journey is truly Seojimo Got.

데이비드는 그러한 사실을 생생하게 다시 떠올리면서 우연의 일치인지도 모르지만 지금의 상황이 어떻게 전개될 것인지에 대해 궁금해한다.

David walks through the entrance of the circular building,
wondering what kind of experience might await him inside.
Once he steps in, he notices a wide, open space—
and in the center, a round table with six chairs arranged neatly around it.

Seeing the six chairs, David murmurs to himself,

“Then… does that mean more people are coming?”

Curious, he glances out the window.

In the distance, he sees a group of five people slowly walking toward the building.
As they draw nearer, something about them feels strangely familiar,
even though he cannot immediately place what it is.

Watching their slow approach, David slips into deep thought:

“Who are they?
Why are they coming here?
What is drawing them to this place?”

데이비드는 그 원형 건물의 입구를 통해 안으로 걸어 들어가면서, 여기서는 과연 무슨 일을 경험할 수 있게 될까 하는 생각을 한다. 그리고 건물 안으로 들어가서 확 트인 공간에 6 명이 둘러앉을 수 있는 원형 테이블과 6 개의 의자들을 발견하게 된다.

데이비드는 6 개의 의자들을 보고서 “그렇다면 더 올 사람들이 있다는 말인가?” 하고 중얼거리다가 창문 밖으로 내다본다. 저 멀리서 5 명이 그룹을 지어 건물로 조금씩 다가오는 걸 보게 된다. 그들이 건물로 조금씩 더 다가올수록 그들의 모습이 왠지 낯설지 않게 느낀다.

그리고 그들이 천천히 걸어오는 모습을 보고서 깊은 생각에 빠지게 된다. “그들은 도대체 누구인가, 왜 그들은 여기를 오게 되었는가’ 등등.”
